A very special 1968 Dodge Charger GTS. A spectacular SEMA feature show car in 2001. This car is equipped with a Dodge Viper V10 crate motor, Viper T-56 6-speed manual gear box and a narrowed 8 ¾” rear end with 3.91 rear ratio gears and Moser axles. The suspension was brilliantly modified that is a cross between a stock car and road racer. The front suspension was custom built by BRT Racing products, combined with Magnum Force adjustable upper and lower control arms. The rear suspension was fabricated with a set of 32″ ladder bars which provides a consistent foundation for the Strange coilovers. The wheel, tire and brake package on this car finished off its great look and aggressive stance. The wheels are custom Kinesis wheels with 18″x8″ for the front and 18″x12″ in the rear with matching Michelin Pilots. With big wheels and a powerful engine, this street machine needed big brakes. 12″, 4-piston calipers on the front and 10″ on the back. Mopar Performance master cylinder ad booster. Modern touches for the exterior and interior. The car is painted Viper Silver with a Viper Red bumblebee stripe. The interior is equipped with scat leather seats, custom console, custom gauge panel with Autometer gauges and Viper steering wheel. A complete bare metal restoration. Featured in Las Vegas SEMA show in 2001. Cover car for Mopar Magazine, featured car for Mopar Action and Popular Hot Rodding. The people spoke at the Mopar Nationals, awarding it the People’s Choice.
