If not, go watch it, you deserve it. Gone are the days of 600bhp V12s pushing around 700kg (~1500lb) cars. While we all miss the glory of these screaming 17,000rpm monsters, they were unquestionably dangerous; a lesson learnt by this private formula car owner when he had an unfortunate encounter with a wall. The damage appears repairable and it’s likely that the driver will walk away without injury, but the video serves as proof of how quickly these twitchy formula cars can get out of hand. What’s even better, is the marshal’s reaction; priceless!
