If you were given unlimited funds and were tasked to build the ultimate Formula D drift machine, what would you start with? Chances are you’d build a Mustang, a GT86/FRS/BRZ, an old-school S13 240sx, or some other rear-drive oversteer machine.

Here’s an idea; why not a Lamborghini Murcielago? It make’s tons of power, sounds sublime, and it’s fairly simple to convert to rear-drive. The only downside is well, the several hundred-thousand-dollar price tag.

Nonetheless, that’s precisely what Japanese drifter Daigo Saito is building with the help of the madmen at Liberty Walk. Aside from being completely gutted and changed, the original V12 has been massaged to produce 650hp, and all of that is now being sent to the rear tires for maximum tire smoke production. Check out this insane build below!
