Car Aerodynamics are often regarded as somewhat of a dark art among the many technical aspects that comprise automotive engineering; and that is because, for the most part, understanding in-compressible fluid dynamics is counter intuitive and sometimes cumbersome.
We all cringe at such display of technical jargon, not having a clue of what it means, or why it’s important for performance.
Well, perhaps a visual demonstration will clear things up for us, in this video we get to see a scale model of a modern Mustang Aerodynamics testings inside a wind tunnel, with different techniques shown to reveal what the air around the car is doing, and why.
