This Datsun 1200 Pickup is a slice of Japanese culture, brought to America.
The Datsun 1200 pickup originally has a 1.0 liter engine, that’s small enough not to be converted into cubic inches, in fact, it was never introduced in the American market, as it was deemed too small for what an American truck needed to do.
This particular build has been extensively modified, and as we see in the video, it has a 2.2 liter engine, making around 350 horsepower; it has also been converted to a five speed manual gearbox, and oddly enough fitted with the front of a 1970’s Skyline GT-R.
