The Renault Sport RS 01 Interceptor is the best police car you’ll never see in action.
This prototype supercar from the French manufacturer is powered by the Nismo V6 3.8L twin-turbo engine, which in this case outputs over 500 horsepower, mated to a Sadev seven-speed sequential gearbox. And now, there is a police version of it.
Sadly, you won’t see this police vehicle patrolling the French highways anytime soon, since it was purpose built for the video we see below. Nonetheless such a display of engineering excellence deserves to get recognized, even if it won’t be used for chasing down high speed suspects on the highway.
