You might be asking yourself….an electric vette?….when did that happen?Well let us tell you a quick little story.This 2006 C6 ZO6,has been modified and built by Maryland based powertrain specialist Genovation.
They started with this particular Corvette,and they modified it to accept a 44kwh battery pack,plus the electric motor.
All in all,Genovation claims that the electric motor produces 700hp,and 600 pound-feet of torque. Genovation broke the EV land speed record back in March with the same Corvette,with a top speed of 186.8mph in 1 mile.Since then,Genovation has been upgrading and improving their car,to make it better and faster,and they say more speed is yet to come.
