The Russian media has revealed a head to head crash, where a Mercedes was involved and Vladimir Putin’s chauffeur on a BMW was killed. However, the President was not in the car at the time of the accident.
CCTV images of the footage show how the Mercedes collided head to head, with the presidential BMW. Russian media said that the driver was killed instantly, and that the car is officially registered as belonging to the Federation council.
When the medics arrived, they said that the presidential driver has been killed and that the driver in the Mercedes, has been transported to the hospital in critical condition. The president’s driver was not named, but it’s reported that he had more than 40 years of driving experience, as a personal driver. The clean-up operation took several hours, and the traffic got a bit heavy and also police reported that they are investigating, without giving more details.
