It’s definitely something you don’t see or hear everyday. Lennart Ribring is 97 years old, and he is a first generation Mustang owner. He says that he has bought his first Mustang in the 1960’s, and has hardly thought of buying another car since then.
Now he is more than exited that he’s stepping into a Ford dealership, to buy a brand new 5.0 liter Ford Mustang GT Fastback. As a former Mustang owner, he says that he has never been disappointed in his Mustang, and he is more than sure that he won’t get disappointed now. Lennart says that the driving position, the driving looks and the driving feel, has changed drastically in comparison with his old Mustang, but he also says that it has changed for the better. The car helps Lennart not only to drive around and have a bit of fun, but also to spend a bit more time with his family, as they live away from each other. You are never too old to have fun, says Lennart and he is more than right. This is what driving is all about, this is true passion, this is what us as car guy stand for. Lennart should become our hero, as he has opened our eyes and showed us a different way of seeing the world, and our passion. We can only hope that we grow old as cool as Lennart, and maybe follow his footsteps when we reach this point in our life.
