This Golf 7 R has been tuned by HGP, and the first thing they have done with the car, is a VR6 swap. Yes, they have ditched the 2.0 liter turbo engine, for a 3.6 liter VR6 Bi-Turbo engine. HGP has performed this swap before, but it has been with the Golf 6 R. It has not been easy fitting the VR6 engine in the Golf 7 R, but the results are mesmerizing. The car now pushes 737 horsepower, and 925 Nm of torque, which propels this beast from 0-60 in just 3 seconds, and according to HGP the so called Golf R36 can reach 200 km/h in just 8.9 seconds, and tops out at 330 Km/h. It’s an outstanding performance, and its incredible what a 3.6 liter engine can achieve these days.
