As you can see from the photos below, this mean looking Vette is down at the Nur making some laps and some tests, and rumors are that it might be the upcoming Corvete ZR1. It has been camouflaged really good, but some details in this Vette are so obvious that it’s impossible to hide them.
Starting with the big wing on the back, looks like Corvette is about to go ACR with the new ZR1. The Viper ACR used to generate a serious amount of downforce, so we think that they will much likely try to do the same thing judging from these Corvette testing videos. Goin to the front of the vehicle, we see that it has a big air dam and also we see a lot of wide open intakes, which help cool that big V8 engine that judging by that big hood scoop, we think that it’s going to be a supercharged engine. A blown 6.2 liter V8 would be the right setup to go with. Going down to the wheels, they are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and looking at the brake calipers, they are painted in the original color that the 2008 Corvette ZR1 was painted. All these details tell us that this truly might be the new Corvette ZR1 but as always, no official announcements have been made and we’re still waiting on the big confirmation date.
