Classic & Sports Car’s Simon Taylor will compere the first in a series of seminars on the topic of valuation at the National Motor Museum on 6 September.

The event will give classic car enthusiasts an insight into the ins-and-outs of the complex market, from the latest trends to hot spots in the industry, plus opinion on the immediate and long-term future of the classic car market.

Taylor will be joined by experts including Doug Hill (National Motor Museum Beaulieu), Rob Sass (Hagerty and New York Times), Jamie Knight (Bonhams motoring department), Richard Hudson-Evans (valuation specialist) and Frank Nash (Blick Rothenberg).

Hagerty International MD Angus Forsyth said: “With such a stellar panel, the first seminar promises to show a real insight into the complex nature of the classic car and bike valuation process.

“With classic car values defying the downward trend of the general economy, it seemed like the perfect time to launch the valuation seminar programme.”

Tickets for the inaugural event are limited to 200 priced at £5, which can be bought in advance from www.internationalautojumble.co.uk, while Hagerty policy holders can call 08448 241130.
