AMG Sport’ is a term we’ve heard before, with reports emerging earlier in the year of a ‘C450 AMG Sport’ eventually being offered to plug the gap between the C400 and the full-fat C63. This is most likely what you can see in the image at the top of the page, next to an AMG Sport version of the new GLE SUV.
The cars will offer “enhanced performance and technical refinements.” It’s all part of Mercedes-AMG’s plans to double its 2013 sales figure by 2017 to well over 60,000 units. We can’t wait to see what the new brand comes up with.
