The 1980’s was a time of awful fashion choices, awful hair, and admittedly awful cars. Standing in defiant opposition of awful cars like the AMC Gremlin, was the Lamborghini Countach.
With sharp lines, dramatic fender flares, and more importantly that wonderful V12, the Lamborghini wrote the formula for the modern exotic car – hell even the now infamous ‘lambo doors’ were pioneered on the Countach.
Many have dreamed about the Countach and plastered its form on their bedroom walls, though you’ll be lucky to see a Countach in the flesh, never mind actually get the chance to drive one.
Thankfully, there was one Countach owner that took his precious Countach out its heated collector garage, and brought it to the most appropriate place on the planet for a Lamborghini Countach – the autobahn.
At nearly 170mph, the sound of this thing is astounding and the world suddenly seems like a better place.
