Renault and their partnership with Red Bull have apparently come to an end, yet the French company is not leaving Formula One.
They just have acquired Lotus for the modicum amount of one quid. This gesture has sure turned a bunch of heads, and has many wondering about the future of Lotus.
While the transaction is merely symbolic, it finalizes the Renault takeover of Lotus.
What does this mean for future Formula One seasons?
We can only speculate, Lotus is obviously providing engines for Renault.
