Fernando Alonso has always been good in F1 starts, but it’s amazing how he continues to kill it, even though rules have changed regarding the starts, and now the driver has more control in his hands.
The McLaren car might not be the fastest on the grid, but its driver is the fastest one on the start, and by the videos that you will see, he has made up quite some places in the first laps on the 2016 races.
He has proved that he’s still the king of starts, last week in the Malaysian Grand Prix, where he went from 22nd to 12th, in half a lap also in Monza he showed quite some skills, with a near miss and dab of opposite lock while avoiding a Williams. There was also his crazy start at Russia, where his reaction to the lights was registered at 0.08 seconds, which is a crazy figure. We have nothing else to say except, keep it going champ!
