We have seen many odd things and crazy stuff here at GT Speed, but this guy is about to reach our top ten list, of the most ridiculous things ever done to a car.

His name is Bill Mould, and he’s a bike mechanic, a wheel builder, and as a wheel engineer he decided to build a big bicycle wheel that would hold the weight of a car. He created a 36 spoke bicycle wheel, that is made with velocity hub, velocity rim, velocity cliffhanger and Maxxis tire. Building the tire wasn’t the biggest problem for Bill, the real challenge was finding an axel that was strong enough to hold the wheel. After attaching the wheel into the car with the help of an adapter and his student, Bill was able to cruise around with the car and it had no problem. Looks like mission accomplished, but why was this test done? For the sake of science or to check how strong the wheel really was?
