A 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird, a car auctioneers are calling “the perfect storm of muscle cars,” is expected to bring between $400,00 and $500,000 when it hits the auction block later this month.

Chevrolet designed the Superbird to entice NASCAR legend Richard Petty, but that idea was abandoned when NASCAR changed its rules on engine sizes in winged cars.

This particular car has around 16,000 of its original miles on it and was restored in Florida in 2002. And yes, it still has its original Hemi.

R&M Auctions will be selling the car on Nov. 21, more information about the car is available here. While you’re at it, check out our gallery here of some of the most expensive cars sold at auction.
