King of the Hammers takes place every February on public lands in Johnson Valley, California. This competition conduct activities like climbing through the rocks and racing in the desert. Also those kind of specialized races need very special vehicles that are capable to perform speed and flexibility to stay in competitive position.Seeing that car even if we don’t know the driver we can imagine him with his epic facial hair and Bingo! His name is Tom Wayes and he has great skills to pilot a vehicle up a seemingly impassable stretch of rock. Called Backdoor, it requires trucks to literally climb by going vertical, their front wheels clawing for traction on the surface.Anyway Wayes did an amazing performance driving with a flat tire and climbing over two vehicles. The King of the Hammers title 2014 was won by Loren Healy
