The question is: Did you know that the 2015 Corvette Z06 packs on 226 pounds?A spokesperson with Chevrolet Monte Doran says that all the weight comes from the hardware necessary to corral the 650 hp hellion around the track.The package also includes a supercharged V8,huge brakes to match,335-series rear tires wrapped around 20x12inch wheels.From those parameters we know that the previous generation Z06 was the lightest car in the GM lineup just because their clever tricks like carbon fiber body part.Maybe this left some space for weight savings on the new C7 Z06
