This 3D printed Toyota 22RE engine and 5-speed transmission is an awesome example of what the future holds. 3D printing has grown like crazy in the last few years and is going to be a huge part of the car industry’s future. Hopefully in the next few years we will all have a printer sitting in our garage. When we need a body clip, or something simple and plastic, we can just print one right up and continue with our project. Imagine the possibilities! Especially with R/C cars, no more trips to the hobby store, you’ll be able to print just about every part on one of those things! 3D printing FTW.
