As Autoguide reports, the US Patent and Trademark office just published a patent that was filed by Ford for a completely bonkers eleven speed transmission. Yeap! This means that finally people are not going to fool Fast & Furious geraboxes. At least, they will have something to justify their action. Kind of “we were using that 11 speed transmission before it was cool”. Hmm, we got to be sceptic. How is it going to work and what advantages will we have by using this all new transmission. So, we need to wait a bit…
