There’s no doubt that the Z06 C7 Corvette is one of the most interesting cars in the market today!
So to make it even more special and to satisfy all its clients and future-clients, for the Z06, Chevrolet presented the Z07 package..
A very successful version of the C7 was the Corvette Racing C7.R which is the race version of the stock Z06.
Do you think it’s a good idea to merge the road version Z06 with the track-focuse C7R? Chevrolet thinks so. That result is the all new Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition. Unfortunately, limited to just 500 examples.
Based on the Z06 with the optional Z07 performance package, the C7.R Edition adds various stickers and graphics, black wheels with a yellow lip and Corvette Racing center caps, Spectra Gray Metallic exterior grille inserts, an exposed carbon-fiber hood section, Jet Black leather upholstery with microfiber accents and yellow stitching, suede microfiber trim for the seats, steering wheel and shifter, new Corvette Racing door sill plates, special C7.R-branded car cover and a serial plate reflecting the sequential VINs of each of the 500 C7.R cars, with the first car’s VIN ending 700001. The C7.R Edition will be available in yellow or black, coupe or convertible version. It will be powered by the same engine is in the Z06, the supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine rated for 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Chevy says that with the standard 7-speed manual transmission the Z06 will run to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, 2.95 seconds. with the 8-speed automatic.
If you are seriously interested on owning one of these 500 C7.R Edition Z06s, you have to wait for this summer to come!
