This may seem so intrigant and it really is in fact! This is not like any other Mach 1 Stang’!
The original Mach 1 is powered by 250 HP 5.8L Cleveland V8 engine, quite impressive for the time, but, someone thought that this isn’t enough!
Guess what he did? He was crazy enough to put a Ford GT engine into his Stang’. Yes! The supercharged 5.4L V8 engine the GT is powered!
The new engine is positioned on the trunk of the Mach 1 and made that project quite difficult since that car is not engineered to have the engine back or in the middle of the car. So correct the weight distribution, the fuel tank sits where the “old” engine used to be.
The top speed is probably up over 200 mph which is so impressive!
