Here’s footage that will give any gearhead nightmares.
Here we have the legendary E46 M3 blazing through Mesa, Arizona following what appears to be another BMW. Suddenly, the road tightens and a patch of gravel sends him sailing off of a cliff. Astonishingly, the driver survived his free fall without serious injury.
There’s a lesson to be learned here, driving through a twisty road with your buddies is totally cool; however racing around at ten tenths leaves zero limit for error. If you make a mistake, are unfamiliar with the road or if the unexpected happens, you’ll be in for a world of hurt. Save it for the track folks!
