Many people would describe the Mazda Miata as a platform car. Out of the factory, it’s loads of fun, but it lacks in certain areas.
Its tires are thin, suspension is soft, and the factory 1.8L motor makes an only ‘acceptable’ 140hp. There’s a solution however: fit your Miata with a set of sticky, wide tires, a supercharger, coil over suspension, and volia – you’ll be chasing muscle cars all day long.
This NB Miata, is just that, and the result is stunning. It grips, it pulls, and it does all that while looking like a LeMans’ car from the 1960’s. The incredible Matt Farah is the man behind this video, which serves as a reminder that my own Miata, is far too stock.
