Ever heard of V12 LS? Probably not!
Chevy’s LS engines are arguably the most versatile on the planet. Being small, light, simple and having the potential for excellent power, they’ve been making their way into nearly anything: Miatas, Jeeps, E36 BMWs, you name it. However, what if a typical LS swap is just too typical for you? A few crafty engine builders from the northwestern United States have the answer for you! Using to old fashioned American craftsmanship, they’ve managed to build a V12 LS out of two LS motors.
By the looks of it, it involved slicing an LS3 into two halves, and welding it to the end of another LS3.
After a fabricating new heads, cams and well, everything else, this monster was born. The best part is that it’s no longer than a typical straight-six, and can be mated to a Chevy T56 transmission. Check out the video below for a full walk around of this insane V12 LS!
