Who builds the Nissan GT-R engine?

Each GT-R hand built 3.8L twin-turbo V6 is assembles by  master craftsmen, Nissan calls them Takumi. The exclusive and select group of five are tasked with building the 2017 GT-R engine at Nissan’s plant in Yokohama, Japan.

That’s right, only five of this elite engine builders exist, this is because ample experience and superhuman attention to detail are required to build the powerhouse for a GT-R, in addition to that, a certain sixth sense for engines and passion for automotive performance are also essential.
