Watch a VR6 powered Audi reset the 1/4 mile record at 8.89 -164 MP/H.
After their bad luck with the blown rod in the block, at the Waterfest event in New Jersey, USP Motors came back for vengeance, and this time, the luck was on their side. Even though they did everything they could to bring the parts needed, and fix the car for their last event, the team missed the World Cup Finals.
After this, Chris Green and the team felt even more motivated to finish the last event of the year, with a victory and a new record, and as we have seen in our everyday life, hard work does pay off. They had one goal in their minds, and that was to brake their old record and set a new one with the VR6 powered Audi . They started the day making clean passes and one of them even touched 8.93 at 165 MPH, breaking the old record which was 8.97 at 162 MPH. The team wasn’t even pushing the car to its full potential, so they knew it could give even more and they kept going. They reset their previous old record in a blistering 8.89 at 164 MPH. This is what hard work and dedication can do, and the UPS Team deserved their success and got to enjoy every bit of it.
