A mid engine Corvette has been in the minds of every ‘Vette enthusiast for a long time now, some love the idea, others, not so much. Whatever stance you happen to have on this, it is undeniable that a mid engine C8 would be a major shift in the lineup. With recent leaks and teases, it seems almost certain that America’s most popular sports car is going mid engine.
With this change, not only will a new Corvette generation arrive, the ‘vette will now be competing in a vastly different market.
