When tuners build cars, streetability always seems to be the first thing to go out the window.

The faster cars are built, the louder, the less reliable, and more difficult they become to drive, or so conventional wisdom would state. The video below features Tom Nelson, founder of Nelson Racing Engines who has been building engines since he was old enough to hold a wrench.
According to him, a four-digit horsepower daily driver is completely possible. The solution: Finely tuned, big V8s, running lots of boost courtesy of turbo-chargers.
