While recently Ford has had a myriad of amazing engines in their lineup, one that has been severely overlooked is the 6.7 Ford Scorpion Diesel.
This engine is actually very interesting because of its packaging, having what’s known as a “hot V” configuration, the turbocharger is mounted on top of the intake manifold, and making for a super compact unit, while it has little room for an intercooler, the packaging is more than enough to compensate for that.
The power and torque this massive 6.7 liter Ford Scorpion Diesel V8 outputs is nothing short of impressive, delivering 860 lb-ft of torque at 1600 RPM and over 400 horsepower, this diesel engine is one tough motor.
Although this engine is quite young, the potential for modifications is staggering.
