1968 GMC Pickup

A great example of a late 60′s truck! This is a 1968 GMC Pickup. Cool looking machine!!!

The predecessor of GMC Trucks and Pickups was a creation by the brothers Max and Morris Grabowsky of a first prototype truck in 1901 in Pontiac, Michigan. Just one year later these enterprising gentlemen have established a Rapid Motor Vehicle Company and built their first truck. Actually, it wasn’t exactly a truck, in fact it wasn’t much more than a frame that had two wheels attached to it and a bench to sit on, but it was a start.!
