1969 Chevrolet Corvette ZL1

Very few cars are truly legendary, but this is surely one of them! The 1969 Chevrolet Corvette ZL1, ladies and gentlemen!!!

The ZL1 engine featured in this car would have been as cutting edge of an engine as was possible to produce, given what Chevrolet had to work with over thirty years ago! The all aluminum 427 ZL1 was modelled on the cast iron 427 L88, however it wasn’t simply a change of the block casting material, it was a LOT more than that!
