World’s Coolest Ford Pinto Does 345-Foot Wheelstand

There are roughly 3.4 million reasons not to like the Ford Pinto, but there’s one really, really good reason to like it: this.

It’s nowhere close to a stock Pinto, of course, and it’s not alone in its unlikely transition from fire-prone econobox to fearsome dragstrip demon, but this little yellow monster, found via Bangshift, might just be the coolest Pinto ever.

Why? Because it took to the Thunder Valley Dragway in Marion, South Dakota and laid down a beastly 345-foot wheelstand. The driver is just about as cool as his Pinto, never lifting and shifting hard even while the nose points toward Saturn.
