It was not easy for Bill Standley’s family to accomplish his last wish.Although he was prepared for years planning his funeral, and that’s what his family told to the newspapers.He died at the age 82 from lung cancer and the dying wish of an motorcycle lover was to be buried over his affectionate Harley-Davidson.The Dayton Daily News reported that Bill Standley’s body was prepped by five embalmers with a metal back brace and straps.He was placed inside a Plexiglas casket and affixed on top of his bike, a 67’ Electra Cruiser.One of his sons told to the newspapers that the box stayed inside of Standley’s garage for five years.
