After an amazing performance&win of Ken Block at Gymkhana Grid,Madrid last weekend,we are now able to check his new Hoonicorn RTR,capable to produce 845horsepower and an all wheel drive retro modern ’65 Ford Mustang especially built to satisfy every caprice of Ken.This badass car will be on display at SEMA this year and it will be featured at Gymkhana 7.“I’m stoked to be able to publicly unveil this car for the first time at SEMA in the Ford booth,” said K.Block. “This is a project that I’ve been working on for two years, so to see it fully come to fruition and be able to drive it for Gymkhana SEVEN was absolutely amazing. I also knew that working with Vaughn [Gittin Jr.] and his RTR team was the right choice for this project since Mustang’s are their world, but they really went above and beyond on this car. The attention to detail with the fabrication and bodywork blows my mind. This is hands-down the best Gymkhana car I’ve had yet.”
This car is packed with a 6.7L Roush-Yates 410-cubic-inch V-8 engine. The Hoonicorn was built at North Carolina’s ASD Motorsports, with the help of RTR, Vaughn Gittin Jr’s tuning brand. The package is completed with some other goodies such as a hellaciously mean graphics package, some rather comely bronze wheels,six-speed transmission, some rather flamboyant body work inspired by WRC & DTM and a Sadev all-wheel drive system specifically built for this car.All those things make this Mustang by far the most badass ever but we will wait for Gymkhana 7 to see if Ken is really going to surprise us like he always do.
