In fact he peaked at 227 km/h but this speed wasn’t recorded since he crossed the finish line at 206.09km/h or 128mph!
By doing that, the rider Robert Gull won “the Guinness world record for the “Fastest motorcycle wheelie on ice” and it´s now approved by GWR. The bike he used was a 2011 BMW S1000RR, completely stock except the homemade ice tires.
Crazy! As the rider itself says: “This woulndt been possible without my friens, family and sponsors. BMW and Northbike gave me this opporturnity to ride the S1000RR for this attempt, and the bike was awesome.”
