We all love homemade machinery! Because they are the result of a lot of hours of work that ends up on something special!
This guy for example ended thought it was a good idea to make a TurboJet engine, and he did it! Sure it may not be powerful enough to power a plane, but, it is something.
This is what he says:
“Integrated with a low pressure compression system, but not directly installed by the turbine. The video demonstrates two modes of operation when combustion occurs in the outer chamber, the blue flame is with the afterburner stage. This is only a small model engine I’ve built without any drawings and is only comprised of basic wiring and improvised devices that can be bought off from a store, so please do not take it seriously as this just a toy. I hope to get around into building a better and possibly bigger functioning prototype of a turbo jet engine.”
