In 1989, Randy Balingit-Hartmann (who was then 25) marched into his local BMW dealership to place an order for a brand new BMW M5. Like any 25 year old attempting to purchase an extremely expensive machine on credit, he was turned away. Eventually with the help of his father, he got his M5. Fast forward 26 years later and the M5 now has 400,000 miles on the clock and is still drop-dead gorgeous. Better yet, Randy doesn’t even have any plans to sell it. I don’t think I’ve seen any car enthusiast this devoted to one car and it’s incredible. Check out the whole story below!
