Apparently an intoxicated driver stole a Infiniti QX80, somewhere near Sand Springs Oklahoma this past Friday. Officers were then dispatched to stop the Stolen SUV, including Officer James Matthew Stacy who’s seen in this video.
The plan was to intercept the vehicle using a ‘stinger’, aka, a spike strip. However, the officer arrived too late and well, you can see what happened below.
The officer managed to fire off two shots before being flung backwards by the impact and both had little effect. Later the suspect was arrested under a number of charges including assault, battery, possessing a Stolen SUV, driving under the influence of drugs, evading a police officer, and of course resisting arrest. Shockingly, the officer was later treated in hospital for minor abrasions – frankly he’s lucky to be alive.
