When you’re accelerating to triple digit speeds in less than two New York City blocks, things can get out of control very, very quickly. This video shows a pair of lightning fast Honda Civic, both capable of running mid-eight second time’s, going head to head at the Import vs. Domestic World Finals.
The Civic to the right lost control after an insane 8.59s run, striking a guardrail and launching itself into the air and across the track. The driver of the car was air-lifted to hospital is reported to be in stable condition.
