This time we bring you a unique VW beetle engine swap.
You would never guess the engine that was swapped into this wicked Rat Rod built by ITW hotrods.
Made for the 2014 rat rod magazine build off, this vehicle was built in less than 30 days, and within the ludicrously low budget of 3000 dollars, and that’s not all; to qualify for the contest, the car must travel 300 miles in a tour across the country.
While we refer to this as a VW beetle engine swap, it’s more of a Frankenstein with Volkswagen bits as a shell.
