The Ford 9 inch rear end in this quarter mile truck gets obliterated by the sheer torque when launching, not only do the gears break, they exit the casing violently, even piercing the gas tank. Luckily, there was no fire and the truck was then safely removed from its lane.
Many things could have caused this almost catastrophe, but one thing is certain, happenings of this sort remind us safety should always be taken into account.
