Building a R34 GTR Time Attack Skyline!
Matt Longhurst says his Nissan Skyline GTR R34 is now ready for the world time attack challenge.
Now we all know that most of the people that own GTR’s and especially Skylines, are focused more on just going fast, but all Skyline fans know that the R34 GTR isn’t just fast in the straight lines, but is also fast on the corners. That’s why Matt Longhurst has chosen this car to participate in the world time attack challenge, but this isn’t your “simple” R34 GTR. This beast was built and tuned by Matt from Developro, and Cam and the boys from Solid Engineering. The 2500cc engine now pushes 600 horsepower at peak rpm, and does from 0-60 in just 4.9 seconds and tops out at 250 km/h. The engine also has 397 lb-ft of torque which makes the Time Attack Skyline acceleration very brutal, and also the whole body of the car has been rebuilt as you see, and the weight has been significantly reduced, and it has been under numerous sport modifications that has helped the cars aerodynamics, acceleration and stability, which are major component in a time attack.
