It looks like that a “simple” S Class wasn’t enough for Mercedes, and they are thinking on debuting their S Class Night Edition in January.
In terms of appearance, the “Night Edition” will get the radiator grille in glossy black, and it’s wheels will be painted in the same and so will the side mirrors and side sill panels, and also “Night Edition” badges on the side of the car and illuminated doorsills.
Going in the interior of the car, you have two options, either two-tone leather or the all black. Mercedes has engraved the Night Edition logo on the steering wheel as well. Of course Europe will get the Special Edition cars first and then they will be available in the US, most likely the S550 4Matic will get this treatment. The car is set to debut this January at the Detroit auto show, so if you’re searching for a nice blacked-out luxury coupe the S Class Night Edition might be the one for you.
