Did Vin Diesel leak the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon?
There are times when manufacturers have trouble keeping their upcoming vehicles a mystery till their official debut, and looks like Dodge might be having the same problem with their “Demon” machine. Unlike previous times, where car spotters cause all the problems, this time is Vin Diesel who accidentally gives the viewers, a lot more than just a peak on the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon.
And if Vin wasn’t enough, there was also an Instagram page that goes by the name of “moparmemes”, who posted a video of the mysterious Challenger Demon, that looks identical to the “Fast and Furious 8” cars. Now of course Vin’s video was unintentional and a pure coincidence. He was giving a speech to the crew members at the conclusion of filming Fast 8, and directly behind him, there are two Dodge Challengers that look like they have gotten the “Demon” treatment. At first glance you immediately notice the larger hood scoop and the wider wheels, and also the wide body treatment, and if you look closely, at the front fender you can see the Demon logo that was first revealed on the Demon’s dedicated website. The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will officially debut in April. Even though details are slim on the Demon, we do know that it’s power will be higher than the Hellcat’s, and it will be 200 pounds less than it’s sister. To me, just these two hints are more than enough to keep me excited.
