Well to be honest, this is a comparison that has to be done, because the GT-R isn’t what it was supposed to be anymore. When it first came up, the Nissan GT-R was the best performance car you could get on a bargain, but now all that has changed. You could really kill a Ferrari or a Porsche in a straight line and on a track for just about $70.000, as that was the price of the GT-R when it was first introduced to the world wide public. Now the prices for the newer GT-R’s has gone through the roof, and from affordable they have gone unaffordable, especially the 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo version that costs $176,585 MSRP. Is the Nismo worth that much for the performance that it offers? Yes it is, every single penny. Does the 2009 660 horsepower GT-R keep up with the Nismo on the track?
