Watch this GTR engine blows up
This is the first time we hear of something like this happening, especially with a VR38 engine that are know to handle extreme horsepower.
It looks like the owner of this white GT-R was having fun with his car, but from what we can hear he was keeping it at high revs maybe even redline, and then he dropped a gear and accelerated, at least this is what we think happened. Another possibility is that the car probably had a crappy tune in it, and that’s what caused the engine to fail. This is certainly the first time I see a VR38 fail as they are known for their reliability. This guy made the impossible possible for sure.
