Joe Sylvester Motorsports set a world-record distance jump in the Bad Habit monster truck at the 2013 Cornfield 500. The 10,000-lb Bad Habit monster truck launched at 85 mph to achieve a new world record of 237-ft, 6 inches, demolishing the previous record of 214 feet, 8 inches.

The Bad Habit Monster Truck uses specially designed KMC XD Rockstar wheels.

The record is being verified by the Guinness World Records organization and it is hoped that it will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Previous distance jump record setters Travis Pastrana, Robbie Maddison and Tanner Foust chimed in before the stunt. Watch it here: http://youtu.be/dorLY02rn_g
